Cookie Policy

1. Who is responsible

This website is run by Novara Management IK (trading as nexNOVARA), the controller of the data described here. Contact: contact@nexnovara.com.

2. What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (local storage and session storage) works in a similar way, but it stays in your browser and is not sent to the website with every request. This policy covers both.

3. What we store on your device

nn-lang (cookie): set by this site. It remembers the language you chose (English, Russian or Spanish) so pages open in that language. It lasts 1 year. Type: functional.

nn-lang (local storage): the same language choice, also kept in your browser's local storage. It stays until you clear your browser data. Type: functional.

nn-intro (session storage): records that the opening animation has already played, so it does not replay on every page. It is cleared when you close the tab. Type: functional.

nn-apply-draft (session storage): only if you start the application form. It holds your unfinished answers so a reload does not lose them. It does not include your free-text answers (what you will not do, your biggest challenge). It is never sent anywhere until you press send, and it is deleted when you send the form or close the tab. Type: functional.

These entries are not used to track you or build a profile, and none of them is shared with anyone. The language entries hold only your language choice. The application draft holds what you typed into the form, so it is personal data on your own device; it stays there.

4. Page view counts without cookies

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not identify you or follow you to other websites. We see only totals, such as how many visits a page had. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.

5. Why there is no cookie banner

Latvian law requires consent before a website stores information on your device, except where that storage is strictly necessary for a service you asked for (Informācijas sabiedrības pakalpojumu likums, art. 7.1). Everything listed above falls under that exception: it only serves the language and display choices you make on this site, and the form answers you started typing so a reload does not lose them. That is why we do not show a consent banner.

6. Our promise

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party cookies. If we ever want to add a cookie or tool that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first, and refusing will be as easy as accepting. This page will be updated before any such change.

7. Links to other sites

If you follow a link to another website or platform, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy, which we do not control.

8. How to control or delete them

Every major browser lets you see, delete and block cookies and site storage, usually under Privacy or Cookies in the settings. You can also browse in a private window, which clears them when you close it.

If you delete nn-lang, the site simply opens in its default language until you choose again.
